US futures set to open flat at this 7AM hour following a volatile overnight in overseas markets as the roller coaster in the Shanghai market continues and Asian shares closed mixed. Wall Street focus will be on the GDP data due out at 8:30AM. Analysts are predicting that, after a contraction in the first three months of the year, the economy grew at an annual rate of 2.8% last quarter. Gold continued its slump falling to 5 1/2 year lows as the dollar strengthened on the greater possibility of a  September rate hike by the Fed.
