Coca-Cola KO Earnings Report

Coca-Cola Earnings Preview: Innovation At The Soda Fountain?

Though volatility has been the big story over the last week, remember it’s still earnings season, and fresh reports are still coming in. This week’s wave includes a handful of food, beverage and restaurants companies—all selling consumer products that might give some insight into current trends.

Beverage giant Coca-Cola Co. is scheduled to report its Q4 results before the bell on Friday.

Coca-Cola has been in a transition period that includes everything from operations to rebranding of its iconic Diet Coke brand, according to many analysts. Like its rival PepsiCo,

Coca-Cola has been battling a multi-year slump in soda sales as Americans have opted toward healthier beverages and bottled water, according to industry trade journal Beverage Digest.

Earnings Report Won’t Fix Problems of The Coca-Cola Co Stock

There are two stocks whose reputations seem almost impervious to their performance and prospects. One is The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO) and the other is Procter & Gamble Co (NYSE:PG).

In the case of both KO stock and PG stock, investors continue to argue that both are safe, steady dividend payers that should be a part of any investor’s portfolio.

Trade of the Day 2-16-18

Interesting day today ahead of the 3 day weekend. I see many stocks at the top of a five day rally, and very few short sales worth considering.

I am not calling any new trades today. This is an important lesson many traders never learn. You should trade, and accept risk, when the odds of earning an acceptable profit, justify the risk. I don't see that today for new trade.

Could the stock market have another rally today? Yes. I don't see a reason to initiate a new long.

Ever the tech enthusiast, Bert Green decided to start accepting bitcoin at his Chicago storefront in 2013, becoming one of the first art galleries in the US to accept the digital currency as payment.

Things didn’t work out as planned.
